Two men returned from vacations about the same time.

One man said, "We went to the Canary Islands, but didn't see any canaries."

The other guy said, "We went to the Virgin Islands, and didn't see any ... (out of the corner of his eye, spotting their wives coming, changed his sentence mid-stream) didn't see any canaries either."
