Sexual Magnetism?

I believe most firmly that there is. 

I don’t recommend you try this, not in today’s climate, but if you stare at a girl, the chances are she will turn towards you. Somehow, we know when someone is staring at us. That is, more than just a casual glance. It’s when the stare becomes sexual, as if the person staring is mentally removing our clothing. That seems to trigger something primal. 

So, I wonder, is there such a thing as sexual magnetism? I firmly believe that there is. Sex seems to breed sex. So, how is it transmitted…come to that, how is it perceived and received? 

My answer to this is look at a cat’s face. A cat can express a wide range of emotions without seemingly changing even the tiniest muscle in its face. Just look at a cat and you know if it’s happy, inquisitive, just checking things out, or if it’s getting cross. 

I think that it is facial expression on the minutest level, coupled with body language that transmits sexual availability and desire, but not only that, it also transmits consent, and acceptance. 

Especially these days when sexual harassment seems to be the order of the day. Yes, I know that sometimes people can press unwanted attention. It’s happened to me too. (Yes, there are times when I am not interested.) But it took me a long time to simply accept that my sex drive is what it is. 

I do set myself up for sexual encounters, sometimes subtly, sometimes blatantly, and sometimes extremely blatantly. I think men are horny most of the time. Perhaps I’m wrong, but it seems to me that with constant 24/7/365 semen production and no monthly cycle, and going back to our primitive roots as a species when we only survived by opportunistic eating drinking and breeding, guys must be almost ready all the time. 

I know some girls who are 100% not horny during their period. I know others for whom it’s the horniest time of the month. (That would be me!)  Around ovulation, I am wetter, and more horny than usual. But it’s that ‘usual’ that needs unpacking. I am what many people have accused me of being…a slut…a tramp…a whore. I adore sex in all its forms, and if I don’t like something, well, I won’t do it again. I’ve found a couple of things that people wanted to do with and to me that were no-nos. But you don’t know until you try. I have also had things suggested to me that initially made me think, "Ew! No thank you.” That turned out to be highly erotic. 

I believe that as a species, we retain that natural inquisitiveness that helped propagate our species. We aren’t like spiders where the female is so hostile to her mate that she might kill him before, during or after the act of mating. We, that is both male and female, do look for attraction. Maybe guys are a bit more overt about it, but hey, there has to be differences, right? 

One of the things that surprised me more than anything, when I became sexually active, was how different a personality I seemed to have when I’m with another girl rather than when I’m with a guy. With another girl, and I found this out quite early on, I (and she) was way less inhibited. Sex was…freer….more natural in some ways….no, I don’t mean natural, I can’t think of the word I want…hmm..maybe I mean there were no surprises? Yes, that’s close enough. No surprises. Same ‘equipment’ almost identical responses and perhaps this is important, similar response times. Girls take longer to get there than guys. Also, girls can go again and again, while guys, bless you, need some recuperation time, and there seem to be limits as to how many times you can go in one session. Not so us. 

On a beach, in a bikini, all I have to do is look around to see guys scoping girls out right left and centre. Girls also scope girls out. That’s been the same since puberty. Who has started yet? Who has bigger tits? Who has the neatest pubes? Who is pretty? Who has the nicest teeth? All part of girl scoping girl. Like it or not, sex is all around us. 

Sometimes I dress purely to satisfy my sexual needs that day. Other times, I dress in whatever comes to hand, but still might engage…no, scratch that…WILL engage in some kind of sexual event(s) during that day. 

Dani was never the sexual dynamo she is now. Not until she came to live here, and lived in a highly sexual household. It seemed to liberate her. She…well….you all know what she became. As, to a lesser extent did Alice. Sex, breeds, sex.

Sexual magnetism? Sexual attraction? Same thing? Different?
