Dumb tattletale!

A motel guest reported to the owner that the people in the neighboring room must have a bird in their room, because they heard the woman asking, "Shall I let it fly or catch it in a towel."

I'd like to have been the motel owner and go knock on the door to check out the rumor of them having a bird in the room! After playing with me a while, maybe she could ask me the same question!
