Soon after we were married which is quite a long time ago by now, my wife asked if I knew a good example of conceit.

In response to her question, of course I did not know her definition and could not begin to guess. She replied, "A male flea floating down the river on a leaf and calling out, 'Raise the drawbridge!'"
